Round 5 – Knockhill

This weekend the Bennetts British Superbike Championship heads North of the Border to Scotland, as the fifth round of the series takes place at Scotland’s national Motorsport centre – Knockhill Racing Circuit.

Located in the Fife countryside the circuit is about 10 miles north of Dunfermline. Initially opening in 1974, the track is 1.3 miles long and was created by joining service roads to a nearby disused railway.

The Honda team arrive at Knockhill circuit with Xavi Forés sixth in the overall standings and teammate Andrew Irwin ninth. Honda’s Superstock 1000 challenger Tom Neave is sitting sixth overall in the Superstock 1000 standings. The Honda trio will be looking to push further up the ranks with solid results at the Scottish circuit this weekend.
