Honda Racing geared up for Brands Hatch season finale

Round 12, the grand finale of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship takes place this weekend (12-14 October) at Brands Hatch, where Honda Racing’s Dan Linfoot and Jason O’Halloran are looking to finish the year on a high after a tough season plagued with injuries.

With three races across the weekend at the 2.4-mile circuit, Brands Hatch GP is a track that has suited the CBR1000RR Fireblade, with both Dan and Jason having scored past podiums there.

Dan is back aboard the CBR following a horror-crash last time out at Assen after another rider struck him in the second race, where before the incident he’d been riding strong and mixing with the front group.

Jason is currently holding a five-point lead in the Rider’s Cup Trophy and is looking to build on the pace from Assen, while looking towards the podium to finish the year on a high as he did in 2017.

Round 12 of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship kicks off with first practice on Friday (12 October) at 10.15, with Race 1 scheduled for Saturday (13 October) at 16.00. The closing races of the 2018 season will take place on Sunday (14 October) with Race 2 at 12.45 and the final race at 16.00.
