Rider Number 20 Date of Birth 08/03/2016

Jenny Tinmouth is one of the most successful female motorcycle racers of all time. She is the only female to compete in the British Superbike Championship and still holds the record for fastest female at the Isle of Man TT races. Tinmouth holds two Guinness World Records for her achievements at the TT in 2009 and 2010 when she broke and rebroke the female lap record with an average lap speed of 119.945mph. She also has another Guinness World Record for being the only female in the BSB championship.

As well as her BSB achievement the Cheshire-based rider has also scored many firsts for women in the sport – she was the first female to enter and qualify to race in the British 125gp championship, the British Supersport and Supersport Cup Championships.

In 2004 she raced in the 125GP, 2009 saw her move into the British Supersport Cup, where she scored a third place finish at Croft. In 2007 Jenny was the first female to race in the World Supersport championship and also was the first female to race a Superbike at Race of the Year at Mallory Park, when Rizla Suzuki invited her to race with them.

In 2009 Tinmouth raced for the first time at the Isle of Man TT and smashed the female lap record – she returned the following year in 2010 and broke her own lap record. At the TT she also finished fourth in the TT Zero race. This same year she also took part in the TTXGP, as well as finishing third in the World Electric bike racing championship in Almeria. She also won a British Supersport Cup race at Silverstone and completed the season finishing third overall.

2011 was Tinmouth’s first year racing Superbikes full time entering the British Superbike championship racing with the Splitlath Motorsport Team. However, due to a lack of testing, track time and ongoing mechanical issues Jenny left the team after three-months. After the split she ran her own Supersport bike again in the British Supersport championship.

2012 to 2014 saw Tinmouth back in the British Superbike championship running her own Honda Superbike. In 2015 Jenny fulfilled a life-long dream and signed with Honda Racing as the team made its comeback into the BSB championship, she enjoyed a good season on the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, smashing personal lap records at each round and proved she’s still the fastest female on a Superbike in the UK.
